Mr. Bonner is the Founder and CEO of the Cherrystone Group, a Hoboken-based real estate investment company with a significant track record acquiring distressed real estate assets throughout the State of New Jersey. Since his entry into real estate investment more than twenty years ago, Michael has participated in the acquisition and disposition of over 200 properties, spanning asset classes. Mr. Bonner is adept at identifying opportunistic investments and navigating complex situations. He has considerable experience repositioning distressed assets and realizing superior returns investing in non-performing mortgages and tax liens. Mr. Bonner is also the Founder and CEO of PropertyPilot, a real estate data and analytics software platform used by some of the largest lenders, real estate investors and municipalities in the State of New Jersey.



Scott D'AloiseDirector of Asset Management
Scott D’Aloise has over 18 years of legal, professional, management and business development experience as a real estate professional and practicing attorney. Scott has advised and participated in joint venture opportunities with development companies and investors on various aspects of real estate transactional matters, including acquisitions, distressed transactions, dispositions, management, work-outs, sales and marketing in New York, New Jersey, Delaware and Florida. Previously, Scott was affiliated with URSA Development Group where he managed the development process, handled financing transactions and oversaw the management and operations of multi-family and commercial projects in various stages of development. He oversaw the development and management of luxury residential rental projects consisting of two 44-unit buildings and a 39-unit building including the related disposition of these assets. Prior to URSA, Scott was Vice President of Development for Continental Properties, a privately-held, real estate development and management firm. During his tenure he managed and directed various aspects of residential and commercial real estate development projects including land acquisitions, project design and development, approvals, construction, land development, legal matters, design, sales and marketing efforts and the strategic disposition of company assets. Scott was involved in the development of communities with over 620 single family homes; over 400 luxury townhouses and condominiums and a 42 story residential tower in NYC. Scott also directed the management of a 1700+ unit multi-community apartment portfolio and a 150,000 square foot office building. Developments under his management had in excess of $370 million of sales during his tenure with Continental Properties and he handled the disposition of real estate holdings in excess of $140 million and negotiated and consummated various refinancing and construction loan financing arrangements. Scott received his BS in Marketing and Advertising from Seton Hall University and his JD from Pace University School of Law.
David GrossDirector of Acquisitions
David Gross is an experienced deal maker with over 7 years of professional real estate experience. Formerly, at CBRE, he was a Capital Markets professional leading the NYC Outer Boroughs Investment Sales Group. David focused on asset disposition, financial analysis, investment strategy development and due diligence support. While at CBRE, David participated in the acquisition and disposition of assets valued in excess of $175 million in aggregate. In addition, he provided property valuations and bid guidance, primarily for non-performing assets, in excess of $1 billion, representing institutional investors and lenders. Before CBRE, David was an Acquisition Associate at Andover Properties, a real estate investment and development company, located in New York City. While at Andover, David supported acquisition activities by sourcing and underwriting all potential target investments. This included a portfolio of 5 non-performing mortgages secured by self storage facilities in 4 eastern U.S. states. He was responsible for performing in-depth market analysis on target acquisitions, providing input in the due diligence process and operational assumptions. David has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Northeastern University and a Master’s Certificate in Real Estate Investment from New York University.
